Abundant white flowers. Can be shrub or small tree. A hardy plant that is maintenance free and provides a show of flowers in the Spring, wildlife food in the Fall and also has a brilliant red leaf display. The smooth grey bark provides interest to a winter garden.

Preferred Site
Full sun or partial shade. Sheltered from strong wind. Average to moist soils, with preference for slightly acid soil. Tolerant of urban conditions, cold and salt.
Maintenance Notes
Prune in late winter after coldest days passed. Place in sheltered location as wind, combined with heavy berry crop, can lead to breakage.
