Prariefire crabapple
One of the most widely planted crab apples, with wonderful color due to its purple leaves and red to purple blossoms. Blooms later than other varieties. This variety produces small, maroon apples that remain on the tree into the winter. It is resistant to the various diseases that can affect apple trees.
