Crimson King Norway Maple
Crimson King has for many years been considered the ultimate front yard tree on PEI. It is a moderately fast growing tree that has good branch structure requiring little maintenance. The leaves are a stunning deep crimson and turn purple in the Fall. The tree also puts on a brief but impressive display of yellow flowers in early Spring. Can be paired with the deep green Emerald Queen for contrast.
