Autumn Blaze Freemanii Maple
A popular and long recognized variety of Freeman’s maple, selected for good Fall color. This cultivar combines the fast growth and adaptability of silver maple with the good structure of red maple and will grow vigorously in a variety of soils and conditions, including urban setting. It is a low maintenance tree, with good color all year and particularly on the Fall, when the leaves turn a full range of yellow, orange and red, giving this cultivar its name.

Preferred Site
Full sun. Tolerates wide range of soils and pH. Will tolerate wet sites, even standing water, and urban conditions.
Maintenance Notes
Prune in late summer after leaves have fully developed. Can be brittle in the wind so sheltered site is preferable.
