Yellow Birch
Native to PEI and the Provincial tree of Quebec this tall and stately tree has good form, with a strong leader and graceful ascending branches. It has golden yellow exfoliating bark that makes it attractive year around. It is a medium fast growing tree that can live to between 80 and 100 years. It is quite resistant to leaf miner, making it a great choice for areas where this pest may occur. A key part of the Acadian forest.
