White Pine
This is a beautiful evergreen that is native to PEI, with good upright roundish structure and long, soft needles that give it a very pleasant texture and color. The grey, scaly bark is also attractive. White pine is a wonderful evergreen that will provide a “soft” look and feel to a garden. It needs a sheltered location to prevent the needles getting scorched over the winter.
