A popular spruce with fine branches that form drooping branchlets with age and have consistently good pyramidal form and dark green needles. It is a cold hardy tree that will need space to grow as it can reach 60′ on maturity.

Full sun. Needs average to moist soil, but tolerates a range of pH, cold, salt and urban conditions.
Prune to keep single leader and perhaps top candle to check excessive growth. If necessary prune back that year’s growth only.
